Getting close to time to head back home...

Just about 10 days left of our stay in Florida. We've had a ball, worked our tails off, been frustrated by some people's attitudes and charmed by others. The best part has been the chance to take tons of pictures of things we don't see at home.

Update: Caught the two guys at the top watching a golf game with interest this morning. And our Florida stay is over early. We leave Sunday to head back to Texas. We hope to see lots of interesting things on the trip home, though, so stay tuned.

Some of these pictures were taken at the country club where we're working this week, and on Sanibel island.

The driftwood pictures are certainly striking.

Tony - I had some catching up to do! You've got so many great shots, I can't name them all. Loved the driftwood. You have a real gift for the sunrise/sunset shots. Totally awesome.

I put you on RSS feed, so I'll know when you post new stuff. Elen waves to Pam. Thanks, Pam for sharing Tony with us! Come back soon.

Thanks Elen and Grace.

Pam decided she didn't really want to swim in the ocean after she saw those things that look like snake skins or skeletons. I think they might be from eels. And we watched people catching sting rays from the pier. But the dolphins were playing close enough to shore that she got brave enough to wade out a ways.
